Howdy Campers and Friends!

Hard to believe that camp has been over for more than a month, and school is in full swing. I love when all the sports and activities gear up, and we are able to participate in things with our grandchildren! We have been attending Harper’s volleyball games, and we go to be at Dorothy’s Grandparents’ Day celebration. Bob and I are looking forward to taking Emerson to Yellowstone in October. Luna and Emerson are in swimming, and Dorothy and Mae are at the same preschool. Dot will play soccer in the spring, and Mae comes to camp three days a week with Tim! I know there will be lots more going on as the year goes by, and I’m looking forward to all of it! I know you all are busy with lots of activities and school happenings!

Recently we went to the meadow, and all the horses are in fine shape. They get so very fat when all they have to do is eat! They look like big butterballs. The leaves are just beginning to change, but a cold front this week may speed that up. Soon a rancher will come in and cut the meadow for hay that will last through part of the winter. It’s all happening fast.

The dates for BMR 2026 have been finalized-our 80th summer!

  • Session 1:

    • Sunday, June 7th to Monday, June 22nd

    • Parent’s Day will be Sunday, June 21st

  • Session 2:

    • Thursday, June 25th to Thursday, July 16th

    • Parent’s Day will be Wednesday, July 15th

  • Session 3:

    • Sunday, July 19th to Monday, August 3rd

    • Parent’s Day will be Sunday, August 2nd

Rates will be out soon so be sure and check our website www.bluemountainranch.com for additional information. Registration opens October 1st!

We are so grateful that all of you were at BMR this summer. We felt like it was an extraordinary summer — full of friendship and new experiences. Please let us know what your favorite activities were so we can be sure and plan for them in 2026.
