Each week at our Sunday night chapel under the stars, we recognize a special group of campers who truly embody the spirit of Blue Mountain Ranch. These campers are celebrated for showing friendship, kindness, and a willingness to help others—qualities that reflect what makes BMR feel like one big family.
Campers of the Week are invited to sign our historic “Camper of the Week” book, a treasured tradition with names stretching back more than thirty years. They also take part in lighting the campfire, marking their place in BMR’s long legacy of community and character.
Throughout the following week, these honored campers stand proudly on the porch each morning to help lead the sunrise pledge, serving as positive role models for the entire camp.
It’s one of our favorite traditions—and a moment campers remember for years to come.
