What to Pack

We recommend that campers bring older clothing and linens, as camp activities can be tough on these items and occasional loss is possible. Please label all of your camper’s belongings clearly. While the camp is not responsible for lost items, our staff will gladly assist in searching for them if something goes missing.

Keep the cool Colorado climate in mind—days are typically warm and sunny, while nights can drop to around 40 degrees. Laundry is done once each week, so be sure to pack enough extra clothing for the 2–3 days while items are out for washing. This packing list serves as a general guide for both boy and girl campers.

If you have any questions, please email the camp office at camp@bluemountainranch.com.

We ask that you help ensure your child’s clothing is camp-appropriate and follows the Camper Dress Code and Personal Items Policy outlined in the Camper Handbook. We also recommend creating an inventory of everything your camper brings and taping the list inside their footlocker or suitcase to make repacking easier at the end of the session.

If your camper returns home missing an item, please notify us right away and we will do our best to help locate it. Any unclaimed belongings will be donated within 60 days after camp ends.

We strongly advise against sending valuable or sentimental items to camp.
