Experience the Magic of Summer in the Colorado Rockies

Nestled in the shadows of Pikes Peak, our sleepaway camp has welcomed boys and girls ages 7–17 for over 80 years. Family-owned and operated for three generations, the camp was founded in 1946 by Coach Bill Allen and his wife, Dorothy, who believed children grow best when grounded in strong values and fundamentals. Today, their family proudly continues that tradition.

“Blue Mountain Ranch was one of the greatest gifts my parents gave me growing up. It is where I saw my first falling star, climbed my first mountain and rode my first horse. I came back in college as a counselor and loved working for the camp just as much. It is a place where friendships abound and adventures continually happen. Now I look forward to the day my son is old enough to attend. I wouldn’t consider anywhere else except this special, one of a kind place!”
