Student Council Camps
Journalism Camps
yearbook Camps
We can provide an environment for student council, journalism, or even yearbook camps. We have a gym and large mess hall for group meetings. BMR can provide lunch as well as snacks and refreshments. Our low ropes course can also be available for team building experiences.
If you are interested in any of our outdoor education programs for sports camps, teacher retreats, reunions, corporate retreats, student council retreats, or even wedding events, please contact our office at (719) 748-3279 or email us at [email protected].
Accommodations:
BMR can accommodate up to 100 campers and adults at one time. Our nurse's cabins and guest cabins can be used for adults. The cost is $75 per day per participant, which includes three meals and lodging (sleeping bags and linens not provided). For example, if your group comes for lunch on Monday, spent the night and had breakfast Tuesday, that would be considered one day. For groups over 50, we allow an adult to attend free for every 10 children.
BMR offers 6 cabins for campers that include twin size bunkbeds, sinks, showers, toilets, a fireplace, and central heating. We will provide any wood needed for cabins or camp fires. Our cabins can fit anywhere from 12-35 people, depending on the building. This does not include the nurse's or guest cabins.
When it comes to meals, we strongly believe that the camper should eat first, followed by the teacher, and last by the BMR staff. Meals can be served in two ways:
Blue Mountain Ranch will have a registered nurse on site at all times during your stay. The nurse will need to provide a head to toe check of every child upon arrival, as required by law. The nurse will also secure and pass out any medication, as needed, as will as be available for any possible injuries that might occur.

- Buffet Style where our staff will serve with the assistance of teachers, as needed.
- Family Style where campers are involved as "waiters" to come help set up the tables before a meal, serve dishes to the tables, bring empty dishes to the kitchen for refills, and help after the meal with clean up.
