ABOUT OUR cOUNSELORS

The Blue Mountain Ranch staff is compiled of college-age students or college graduates. They are carefully chosen for their enthusiasm, leadership qualities and ability to teach and inspire our children. Proper certifications for specialized activities are required.

There is one counselor for every 6 campers, ensuring that your child gets the attention and guidance necessary. Our counselors are trained to anticipate and support your child when needed. They are not there to stand over your child and tell them that they need to be the best, the fastest, the strongest, or that they have to work harder, and win at any cost. We teach our staff to help take the pressure off the kids and give them a chance to just relax and be kids.

See below what Observable Outcomes our counselors work on during camp.
