CIT Program
Counselor in Training
Campers that are entering their senior year or have just completed high school are eligible for our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. These campers exemplify leadership and prepare themselves for a future as a counselor. CITs are given responsibilities around camp and assist the counselors with the campers in the cabins and at activities.
David Graf, who leads the leadership program, has a great deal of experience in this field. He has been a head basketball coach as well as Student Council Coordinator at Woodland Park High School for several years. He is also been a ropes course facilitator at camp. The program includes an overview of our staff manual as well as our staff orientation materials. It involves "class" time and experiential activities also. Campers come out of this program with a better vision of themselves as leaders and with a more clarified idea of leadership.
