Activities

Blue Mountain Ranch offers activities for every kid not just the athlete. We have over 400 acres and are surrounded by Pike National Forest making this the ideal place to cut loose from all the rigors of academia. Your child will smile till it hurts. Here your child can try his or her hand at mountain climbing, archery, fishing or arts and crafts projects just to name a few. How about riding seven miles through the National Forest or whooshing down a 3,000+ foot alpine slide? We’ve got it all.

WEEKENDS
PictureDances
Saturdays are regularly scheduled activities and then…the dances.  Each Saturday night the kids dance and socialize to today’s “popular” tunes and one weekend we have an “Oldies dance” so send fun costumes to camp with your campers. Past dance themes have included: Howdy Dance (western themed), Tie-Dyed Dance, Glow Stick Dance, and Costume dance to name a few.

PictureChapel Under the Stars
Sundays we have scheduled activities your camper can choose to participate in or…not.  They can sit in a field and watch the clouds go by or nap or do what ever their heart's desire.  In the evening we have a nondenominational worship service under the stars and announce the campers of the week.  This is a gathering where campers and counselors alike can share their inspirations and reflect on their time at camp.
